...born in Schwerin, Germany.

Since 2008: Studied at several institutes: FHP (Potsdam), T-Labs (Berlin), LMU (Munich), NUS (Singapore) focusing on Human-Computer Interaction.

Since 2014: PhD Student at the »Visual Computing Research and Innovation Center« of the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD (Fraunhofer IGD) in Rostock; Competence Center »Visual Assistance Technologies« Research Focus: Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Wearable Computing
Topic: »Extending Peripheral Interaction by Augmenting Humans«

Publications
Since 2011 I am conducting and publishing research in the domain of Human-Computer Interaction. While my research is mainly interest-driven, I try to find new ways to improve interaction between the user and mobile devices. Previous research has shown that the control of mobile devices - while being on the go - can cause risks that are not negligible. Therefore, I try to explore alternative interaction modalities that enable interaction to be less attention drawing while trying to involve the whole human body as an interaction interface.
